Katey Spinner is a New York City based film editor with a B.A. in Film Studies from Wesleyan University. After two wonderful years at MTV, Katey has moved on and is now working as editor on CBS All Access’ “Tooning Out The News” created by Stephen Colbert. Katey is greatly enjoying working in television, and has an extensive background in short and full length film as well. She had the pleasure of working on projects such as Lunar Tribute, a documentary film that premiered at the Museum of Natural History as part of the Margaret Mead Film Festival, and Beach House, a feature film produced by the legendary Ben Barenholtz (Barton Fink, Requiem for a Dream).

Katey has experience in music videos, branded content, short films, feature films, television, and various corporate promotional videos. She is proficient in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve. She is a highly motivated and organized filmmaker ready to bring her passion and upbeat attitude to any project.
